Xtreme has the experience to do all your welding repair needs. But we love aluminum welding the most!! A lot of welding shops hate welding Aluminum, because it requires years of experience to be good. We can make aluminum welds look like a stack of dimes laid on their side when we are done.

Our repair service welds and fixes all kinds of metal products. Everything from your heavy equipment buckets that we can rebuild with new AR400 wear plates and hard facing. How about rebuilding your worn-out bearing shafts, machinery housings, miscellaneous wear parts with our spray weld torch and then machined back to original specifications in our manual machine shop. We fix truck bodies, agricultural equipment, specialized equipment, snow removal equipment, etc. Got a stainless-steel item that needs a weld repair or a crack in your cast iron, no problem here at Xtreme. How about some pipe welding and fitting? Xtreme has extensive experience in cross county pipeline, in plant fluid piping, and hot / steam /chilled water pipe HVAC systems. Xtreme keeps a large inventory of special alloy welding rods in stock for any kind of weld repair. The only thing we can’t weld is a broken heart and the crack in dawn. Mostly because we can’t get the right welding rod.

Don’t worry Xtreme now offers Tmetal disintegration (tap eroding) service. We have an Electro Arc 2-SA DC Metal Disintegrator (tap eroder) It can burn harden steel cutting tools or bolts out of steel, cast iron, stainless steel or aluminum with out damaging the existing treads. We can and have saved the day for customers with very expensive irreplaceable parts that had a broken harden bolt or tap stuck in it.

We can provide both mobile welding in the field and our welding shop is in central Maryland. We are convenient from Westminster, Frederick, Columbia, Baltimore, and Germantown. XTREME Fabrication employees hold welding certifications ranging from AWS D1.1 Structural Steel, AWS D1.2 Structural Aluminum, AWS D1.5 Bridge/Unlimited Thickness, ASME G6 Pressure Pipe, ASME G6 stainless Pipe, and API 1104 6G cross county pipeline. We work very closely with several Certified welding inspectors (CWI) to develop an approved welding procedure for your project if required.
